Skills: everything you do makes you better at it
No classes, no skill points to spend. Do the thing, level the thing, unlock the thing.
The basics
Just play
Every skill levels from its own activity — mine to level Mining, get shot at to level... well, don't. /mcstats shows all your levels; click a skill name or type it (/mining, /swords) for its full unlock list.
Right-click to ready
Gathering skills have super-abilities: right-click with the tool to ready it, then use it within a few seconds. The ability lasts longer as your level grows, then goes on cooldown.
Always on
Most skills also give passive perks that quietly stack up — double drops, dodge chances, better loot. You'll notice one day that stone just dies faster.
Gathering skills
Mining — pickaxes
Passive: chance of double drops from ores, scaling with level. Ability: Super Breaker — ready your pickaxe and stone melts for a few seconds. The signature grind of the whole plugin.
Woodcutting — axes on trees
Passive: double log drops, more saplings from leaves. Ability: Tree Feller — drops an entire tree at once. Note: on this server every tree already falls whole when you chop the base (that's TreeAssist, free for everyone) — the skill stacks extra drops on top.
Excavation — shovels
Digging dirt, sand, and gravel finds treasure — the loot table grows with level. Ability: Giga Drill Breaker, which is exactly as subtle as it sounds.
Herbalism — crops and plants
Passives: double harvests, a chance crops replant themselves, and Green Thumb (turn cobble mossy, wheat into bread buffs). Ability: Green Terra, mass-harvest mode.
Fishing — rods
Levels give better treasure from the water, Shake (knock items off mobs), and Master Angler (faster bites). Stacks with the custom rare fish — see the fishing guide.
Combat skills
Swords
Passive bleed damage-over-time; Serrated Strikes ability bleeds everything around you. Counter-attack chance while blocking.
Axes (as weapons)
Bonus damage and critical hits that ignore some armor; Skull Splitter hits in an arc. The heavy option.
Archery
Scaling bonus damage, a daze chance, and arrow retrieval from corpses. Levels fast if you live in a cave shooting out.
Unarmed
Fists become weapons: bonus damage, disarm chance against players, arrow deflect, and Berserk mode. The meme build that becomes terrifying at high level.
Taming
Your wolves fight better, take less damage, and you get beast lore on hit. For the pack-leader lifestyle.
The odd ones
Acrobatics
Roll to reduce fall damage (sneak as you land for a graceful roll), dodge chance in combat. Levels from falling — carefully.
Repair
Fix tools and armor on an iron block for materials instead of XP-anvil costs — higher level keeps more durability and can keep enchants (Arcane Forging).
Alchemy
Faster brewing stands and extra potion recipes. (Different system from the barrel drinks — this is vanilla potions.)
Smelting
Furnace XP boosts and a double-smelt chance. Levels while you AFK next to your furnaces, honestly.
Parties & leaderboards
/party create <name> then /party invite <player> — shared XP bonuses when you play near each other, party chat with /p <message>, and party teleport with /ptp.
/mctop — overall power levels · /mctop mining — per-skill boards · /inspect <player> — scout your rivals.
Works identically on Bedrock and console — type the commands in chat.
